MULTAN — Two persons were arrested and a loaded truck of alleged fake fertilisers was seized after an official team led by deputy director agriculture extension Zafar Abbas raided a chemical facility in Multan on Tuesday.
The agriculture officer attacked a chemicals factory near Mauza Hamid Pur Kanora, Multan-Muzaffargarh road, on a tip, and confiscated 100 50-kg bags of NP fertilisers worth more than Rs 600,000. He was escorted by police and other government authorities. The factory’s owner, Danish Hussain Abbasi, Muhammad Mudassir, Sajjad, and other unidentified individuals were all prosecuted.
