CHAKWAL, APP): According to media sources, at least twelve persons were killed and numerous more were injured in an accident near Kallar Kahar in the Chakwal district.

According to reports, a bus travelling from Islamabad to Lahore for a wedding ceremony toppled owing to a tyre rupture in the Kallar Kahar salt range region.

As a consequence, twelve passengers perished on the spot, while 65 others were injured.

Meanwhile, Motorway police were attempting to remove passengers stuck inside the bus. The rescue effort is being impeded by low visibility at night and will continue until this report is completed.
