The Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee will convene in Peshawar today (Saturday) to sight the crescent of Ramazan 1443 AH.

The meeting of the Central Ruet-i-Hilal Committee will be place in Peshawar, and will be presided over by Maulana Abdul Khabeer Azad, chairman of the Central Ruet-i-Hilal Committee.

Azad stated that the conference will be attended by members of Peshawar’s zonal committee as well as officials from the Ministries of Religious Affairs, Science and Technology, Meteorology, and SUPARCO.

Meanwhile, the other zonal committees would convene in places including as Karachi, Lahore, Quetta, and Islamabad, he said.
