A bye-election is being held in the National Assembly seat of NA-33 Hangu, which fell vacant following the death of MNA Khayal Zaman.

The polls opened at 8 a.m. and will remain open until 5 p.m.

According to the Election Commission of Pakistan, over 300,000 persons are eligible to vote in the constituency (ECP).

PTI, ANP, and JUI-F candidates are expected to battle vigorously.

The administration has designed a watertight security strategy and deployed hundreds of security agents to ensure a calm by-election.
