‘Russia continues to export all energy, even through Ukraine.’

On Thursday, Russian President Vladimir Putin declared that Moscow will continue to export oil and gas, including through Ukraine, where the Kremlin dispatched troops, sparking a new round of costly Western sanctions.

“We are respecting all of our commitments in terms of energy supply,” Putin said during a televised government discussion on the sanctions’ implications.

He went on to say, “Even Ukraine’s gas transportation system is completely working and in conformity with contracts.”

“Their prices are rising, but it isn’t due to us.” It’s because of their own mistakes. Putin added, “There is no need to point the finger at us.”
