In a gunfight with the police on Tuesday in the provincial capital, a robbery suspect was slain.

In Gulshan-e-Maymar, police came upon some suspected thieves and began pursuing the suspects on motorcycles. Following the police party, the suspects started shooting at them.

One of the suspects was killed by crossfire, and the other was taken into custody after suffering injuries.
