On Wednesday, Prime Minister Imran Khan arrived in Russia for a two-day visit at President Vladimir Putin’s invitation.
A high-level delegation, including cabinet officials, will accompany the prime minister. The visit’s high point will be a bilateral summit.
The two countries had amicable ties “characterised by mutual respect, trust, and agreement on a variety of international and regional problems.”
The two presidents will discuss a wide range of bilateral issues, including energy cooperation, at the summit. They’ll also have a wide-ranging discussion about key regional and international topics, such as Islamophobia and the Afghan crisis.
