After conducting a sit-in protest asking that their demand be honoured, more than 15 young doctor were detained in a late-night raid at Quetta’s Fiaz Sumbal Chowk.

According to accounts, the arrested young physicians were transported to a police station. Young physicians staged a protest sit-in in the Red Zone to lobby for their goals.

According to reports, the Young Doctors Association (YDA) has ordered a boycott of all emergency wards in all government hospitals in the province following the arrests of their colleagues.
