Before a vote of no confidence in Prime Minister Imran Khan, a delegation of united opposition leaders met with leaders of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan (MQM-P) to ensure their support.
The discussion took place late Monday night in the Parliament Lodges, according to sources. PML-N leaders Khawaja Safdar, Khawaja Saad Rafiq, and Ahsan Iqbal, President Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah, BNP-M president Akhtar Mengal, and others met with MQM-P leaders Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, Aamir Khan, Wasim Akhtar, and Aminul Haq.
The matter of Prime Minister Imran Khan’s no-confidence vote was also discussed during the meeting, according to sources. MQM-P leaders have been told that their demands will be addressed as quickly as feasible by the unified opposition.
