Police in Gujranwala freed a 14-year-old girl who had been held captive in shackles in the early hours of Monday night.

The child was reportedly held against her will for three months by a suspect by the name of Aurangzeb. The little youngster was reportedly raped repeatedly by the accused throughout this period.

The neighbours phoned the police to report the incident after hearing a girl cry. The police freed the girl from her chains once they got on the scene.
