LAHORE – During intelligence-based operations (IBO) in multiple areas of the province, the Punjab Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) apprehended nine terrorists linked with a banned group.
According to CTD authorities, the terrorists were found with explosives, suicide vests, hand grenades, detonators, and other weaponry. The agency also filed ten charges against them and was conducting further investigations.
Affan, Kashif, Jawad, Saqib Ilyas, Sabz Ali, Dawood Shah, and Ahmad Jan are among the terrorists apprehended. According to officials, at least 564 combing operations were conducted this week, with 94 individuals apprehended.
