ISLAMABAD: After police blocked PTI supporters from holding a demonstration in Sialkot on Saturday, former Prime Minister Imran Khan urged all party workers to come to the streets after Isha prayers and organise a protest against the “imported government.”
On Saturday morning, police raided PTI supporters for conducting a public assembly in a Sialkot ground without the consent of the Christian community.
The Sialkot authorities declined the PTI’s request for a political gathering on private land, but provided them with various options for a new venue.
