26 dissident Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Members of Provincial Assembly (MPAs) are set to be deseated in Punjab, according to sources.

According to reports, the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) is planning to take action against PTI defectors on May 6, while the no-trust resolution against Punjab Assembly Speaker Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi is expected to fail.

The Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) has ran into more trouble after filing a no-trust motion against the Punjab Assembly speaker.
