After 20 hours, at least 18 fire trucks and 55 firefighters doused a major wildfire that broke out at an electronics plant on Multan Road in the Lahore region on Thursday.

Due to the presence of ignitable material on the premises, the fire started at 4:00 p.m. in the refrigerator manufacturing unit and soon spread to other areas of the facility.

Meanwhile, the factory’s general manager, Sarfraz, died of heart arrest as a result of the accident. The fire destroyed machinery and other assets worth millions of rupees to ashes, according to rescue sources.
