KARACHI: The election commissioners for the provinces of Sindh and Punjab have been reallocated, while an interim officer has been appointed in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).
Sindh’s election commissioner, Ejaz Anwar Chauhan, has been reappointed, while Punjab’s temporary election commissioner, Saeed Gul, is a Grade-21 official.
It should be noted that a team led by Saeed Gul from the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) examined allegations of vote rigging in the Daska elections.
Gul had previously held the position of Sindh’s acting election commissioner.
