RAWALPINDI: Sheikh Rasheed, the former interior minister and head of the Awami Muslim League, requested on Wednesday that the federal government remove the containers that were used to keep Azadi March participants out of Islamabad.
Sheikh Rasheed, speaking to rally attendees in Rawalpindi’s Lal Haveli, encouraged party members to maintain calm and protect their homes.
The former minister urged that the government remove the containers and allot the H-9 area in Islamabad near the Srinagar Highway in preparation for the public gathering.
