Two thieves were allegedly slain in a confrontation.

ARIFWALA – Following an alleged police contact during a robbery attempt, two dacoits were slain. The police subsequently tracked down the dacoits during a search operation on Saturday night.

According to accounts, when the police learned about the occurrence via 15, they arrived on the area just as the dacoits were robbing individuals. The police subsequently pursued the dacoits along Qaboola Road near Jamia Islamia after they had first left the area while taking advantage of the darkness.

During the second encounter, two of the dacoits were wounded in a gunfight and taken into custody, but they died from their wounds on the way to the hospital for treatment. However, one of the bandits managed to evade the police once again by taking advantage of the darkness.

With the assistance of extra personnel from other police stations as well, the police renewed their search effort. The police have said that they will begin an investigation.
