Two tribes engaged in fighting over the boundaries of a coal mine in the Dara Adamkhel area of the Kohat district, resulting in at least 16 fatalities and numerous wounded.

Police sources claim that on Monday, there was fighting between the Sunni and Zarghoon Khel tribes that resulted in the deaths of 16 people—11 on one side and 5 on the other.

The deceased and injured were transported right away to a hospital in Peshawar for postmortem examinations and medical care.
